Living on California's central coast affords me a lot of opportunity to paint some of the most breathtakingly beautiful beaches and seascapes in the world!
The biggest challenge that most of my students face when painting a scene like this is creating a believable crashing wave. Once you understand how a wave is constructed though, it will simplify the process for you and you'll never have to feel intimidated again!
